  • New AI Chips - Blackwell GPUs: NVIDIA has introduced their latest Blackwell GPUs, bringing a significant improvement in AI capabilities. The GB200 model can perform 20 petaflops of calculations, and the Grace Blackwell Superchip is 30 times quicker at processing large language models. The CEO, Huang, believes these chips, equipped with six innovative features and powered by CUDA-X, will transform various industries, including data handling and engineering.

  • Apple Vision Pro gets NVIDIA's VR edge: NVIDIA's advanced VR technology is now available on Apple Vision Pro, enabling developers to stream intricate 3D models with ease. This is achieved through the support of NVIDIA's Omniverse Cloud APIs and its Graphics Delivery Network, which offload the rendering workload from the Apple device's M2 chip, enhancing the depth and realism of virtual environments.



  • Project GR00T for Humanoid Robots: NVIDIA has launched Project GR00T, a new base model specifically for humanoid robots. This project is supported by the powerful Jetson Thor computer and upgrades to the Isaac robotics platform. These advancements bring robots closer to human capabilities, including understanding natural language, moving in more human-like ways, and operating independently.

Project GR00T, a general-purpose multimodal foundation model for humanoids, acts as the mind of robots, making them capable of learning skills to solve a variety of tasks.

  • Empowering business AI with NVIDIA Microservices: NVIDIA has rolled out a suite of generative AI microservices for the enterprise sector, facilitating the creation of bespoke AI applications with safeguarded intellectual property rights. These services, running on the NVIDIA CUDA framework, comprise NIM microservices for AI model inference enhancement and CUDA-X microservices for handling complex data processing and computing needs. Recognized leaders such as Adobe and SAP have integrated these solutions, highlighting their potential for quick implementation and customizable AI applications across cloud services and NVIDIA-approved systems.


  • Earth-2 Platform for enhanced climate prediction: Earth-2, is a revolutionary cloud-based digital twin platform designed for advanced climate modelling. It is driven by the power of AI supercomputers and integrates generative AI along with CUDA-X microservices, providing detailed simulations that are crucial for understanding and mitigating the impacts of climate change. Taiwan's Central Weather Administration is among the early users, employing Earth-2's APIs for more effective disaster preparedness planning.



  • Quantum Computing Services on the Cloud: NVIDIA is making a bold move into quantum computing by launching a cloud service that leverages AI for simulations. The service, known as NVIDIA Quantum Cloud, allows for the emulation of quantum computing processes using NVIDIA's advanced AI chips, including the flagship H100 Tensor Core GPU. It's designed to integrate easily with prominent cloud platforms and facilitate access to various third-party quantum computers.

  • GitHub’s latest AI tool can automatically fix code vulnerabilities 🧙‍♂️

    GitHub just rolled out a beta for a cool new feature that's like a magic wand for your code! It uses GitHub's smart buddy, Copilot, and a super smart code analyzer called CodeQL to automatically fix over two-thirds of bugs it spots, sometimes without you needing to lift a finger.   • Google hit with $270M fine in France as authority finds news publishers’ data was used for Gemini ❌ 

    France's competition authority fined Google €250 million for using news content to train AI models without proper agreements with publishers, a breach of EU copyright reforms. The fine follows a previous $592 million penalty for failing to negotiate fairly with publishers. The issue also touches on Google's AI model training practices and the need for transparent opt-out mechanisms for publishers. Google has agreed to settle and focus on building sustainable relationships with news publishers.

    OpenAI's GPT Store faces moderation challenges with the influx of potentially copyright-infringing content, including unauthorized uses of popular franchises and GPTs that promote academic dishonesty or impersonate public figures.
