Sony views this as a potential copyright infringement. The companies have until the end of May to disclose the extent of Sony's music usage. While Sony has not ruled out licensing the data, it remains cautious. The legal status of using copyrighted material for AI training, whether as "fair use" or data theft, is still unclear. Lawsuits are ongoing globally, and legislators are working towards transparency, but no binding international case law exists yet.

• Researchers find GPT-4 often mistaken for human in Turing Test 🤖
  
  Researchers revisited the Turing Test with GPT-4, finding that human participants couldn't reliably tell if they were chatting with a human or AI. GPT-4 was seen as human by 54 percent of participants, surpassing GPT-3.5 (50 percent) and ELIZA (22 percent), but not real people (67 percent). The study shows people rely more on linguistic style and social-emotional cues than logic in the Turing Test.
